I'm currently using Windows XP with Office XP. I'm having trouble getting my word margin set correctly. In the word, my page setup have margin set to 1' all around, but when the paper prints out, my top margin are bigger than the bottom. Why?~

Thanks

Ya, the paper is set to A4 - 8.5x11

Togan, I really appreciate your offer. But I need to figure this out becuase I have tons of paper due thru out a school year, can't send you every single paper! hehe

Yo Jliao,

A4 is NOT 8.5 x 11". A4 is the standard size paper that the rest of the world uses except for the U.S. Here in the U.S., we're stuck on Letter size (8.5 x 11").

A4 is like 8.27" x 11.7" (I'm guessing here). So make sure you're selecting the correct paper size when you print.

Also, have you only had one printer connected to this computer? I had an experience when I had one printer then switched to a better one, but somehow it still thought I was using the first one - this messed everything up.
If so, go to Printers and make sure that the current one you are connected to is set up as the default.

He's got it. You need to set your shiznit to 'letter'.

highlight whatever isnt formatted right and use the little tabs on the bars at the top to set the margin (top is the inital margin, bottom is for every line after the first)

I got it working!! w00t~~

Thanks alot guys~ I've been printing screwed up margin paper for the past couple years..finally found the solution!
