miata body work

im really interested in learning more about cars. my father was a mech back in the day when he was younger but hasnt touched a car really in a while. anway im looking to pick up a used miata with some body damage and my father says hes not great with body work but if it was mostly bolt on it wouldnt be so had. im sure there are some people here that have taken off their bumpers. im looking to put on an after market kit all around. it also needs a new quarter panel. so can someone tell me if its a bolt on bumper system or will i have to mod the s*** out of it. i know there might be some work with an aftermarket kit but im willing to take the chanes on that and try my hardest. thanks for all the help

Yeah, bolt on and off. Probably 10mm or 12mm bolts and nuts.
Most body kits bolt in place of the stock parts, but may require adjustment to fit and look right... from what I've heard. I only have the R-Package spoilers on mine.

Yep... its supposed to help in cooling... some aerodynamic thang!
