Only thing i'd change is expand the "can't enter for 6 months after winning" to, "can't enter for 6 months after winning, can't re-enter at all without extensive changes to your ride, and a completely different photograph"

That'd give alot more people a chance at winning before we start recycling old champions

Buddie, i'am not arguin or getting mad. but I can't give an Opinion here or what ? why everyone in here gets things the wrong way. I'm just giving a constructive idea not destructive or hiting on anyone.

OK and btw I think your ride is the best in my opinion....then again I have one just like it but w/o the weels and all those other mods I wish I had ..lol.

The fact is that if you break it down into categories, you're losing the entire concept of "Mazda Forums' Ride of the Month" .. See, the thing is, the car that wins is supposed to be the 'favorite' car of the ENTIRE forums. That means ALL makes and models of Mazdas. It also means ALL types -- from the modded for show, go, a combination, whatever.

If we break stuff down into categories, does that mean only people with a Mazda3 can vote on the Mazda3's, and so on? How would we ever 'restrict' the polls to people with only a certain type of car? It will inevitably turn into a mess. Think about how many people and how much organization is put into actual car shows -- a LOT. There simply isn't the staff here to support such a thing.

While the idea is definitely unique, it's just doesn't strike me as feasible -- not to mention that it doesn't even fit into the concept of what this whole contest was created for in the first place.

.. If any of that actually makes sense to anyone other than me, LOL.

I really Understand you Mrs Rush, but to be honest in here, you think it's fair that Joka1 it's not wining ? even Stevie Wonder will see that his car it's beautiful and well done in every angle you look at it. what about the speed6, its awesome, the RX7 guy from japan, why they have such a ridiculous amount of votes ? you get my point... those cars are beautiful. they should consider any sort of voting in here..

with a total of 136 votes outta how many members we have here, i dont see the format changing. all of this is still in the early stages so if more ppl start voting and we have the NEED for a categories then im sure will it will be addressed. but i think this format is here to stay unless things change. take a piece of mind 20035 that i voted for you

Not at this time , My car is kind a sick ...It needs tranny work and some other things that I have in mind..my poor msp is on 4 jackstands and all ur rides look so shinny I hate all of you! lol...(pissed) jk.

True that ... but there are others very nice too.. MS6, RX7, etc. why they are getting so little votes.. i can't just believes that only 11 people out of hundreds like the ms6, joka, rx7 or brians...

until we get more participation (SP?) from voters and participants, the format will stay the same.. if it takes off to the point where there are over 30 applicants with 200 votes.. then ill look into changeing the format.. and btw, since the votes are now public.. i think ill run my car in it next month..

how are you specting to have more participants if theres people in these rotm with a ridiculous 1 and 0 votes ? people don't want to participate because of the little chances... popular people are getting voted, public voting its not going to fix and make more people to come and participate, but this is your forum buddie, its just a personal opinion from what i see from shows, meetings and competitions.. you guys can do it the way you guys really want shane...

yeah i feel you. its like high school voting for fav car all over again. but thats life and its not fair and its not the way you want it to be. just know whatever your style is, ppl with similare taste will appreciate it. real reckognize real and you hard work is admired by some, even if its not by the masses. thats all for me in this thread

That sounds better shane. you have to understand that there's lots of vehicles in here with lots of hard hours of work done, and not beign consided.. i know it takes time to do but, when you want something to work out very good man you have to spend time and hard work. I think this rotm thing is asking for something like that, little by little you guys can make an awesome forum, more than what it is right now..

Thanx Michelle, I think the real world is made of new changes, you cant live your entire life in the same way. but theres people in here that just dont give a damn thing about basically anything and dont care to stay the same for ever. this is a freedom of speech community and everyone including my self have the right to make Comments, Opinions , or just ideas of something that might be more beneficial to everyone without disrespecting any members of this Forum, I really dont care about those people that insult others by just giving an opinion. Anyways you cant spec everyone to like the way you are, the way you do and say things..
