Meet my 3!

Hello al,

I have been lurking for a bit and started posting lately... I got sucked into the Zoom with the first test drive in the 2008 MS3... I was driving a 2007 Mustang GT with a Ford Racing suspension set-up and thought I really liked it... Then I drove the 3... Cool little twist to all of that is the wheels on my 3... They are 18x9 all around with a 245/40-275/35 stagger running Toyo Proxes... This is the same wheel and tire set-up I had on the Stang... They bolted right on... Talk about a "free mod"...LOL... Very slight body rub on the passenger side over a heavy dip with a passenger, but the coil overs should solve that soon...

Anyway, great info to be had on this site...

you cant lower it now wheels stick out to much ...looks good

I dont want to lower it... I just want to stiffen it up a bit... The coilovers wont lower it enough to matter if I dont want them to... Thats the good thing about adjustable suspensions... When I wear these tires out I will probably go with the same profile all around... There are no issues up front at all right now... Lock to lock with now rub... Just the passenger side rear with a passenger in the car causing the contact...
