Ok guys I know I said this before ...but now Im serious.
Im gonna buy a MBC, and FMIC Kit and Im not even gonna try to install this myself. So if anyone thinks they are up for helping a fellow member out I will definently pay you. (plus beer (thinkbeer ) I think I could do the CAI but after that im lost. I dont want to mess anything up....hey maybe we could have a big get together and help the Mechanically Challenged Guy.. aka me (group) Anyways I was just running that across my mind at 5 in the morning so hopefully you guys dont all call me a tard this time lol. But anyways if anyone is down for that Id really appreciate it.. I was thinking over spring break in march or sometime in May. thanx guys

Dustin

i'm game, and my birthday is even in may, which has absolutely nothing to do with this thread :) always like installing stuff.

as for any boost controller, manual or electronic, i would STRONGLY recommend you get at the very least a boost gauge and air/fuel ratio gauge if you haven't already. you definetely want to keep an eye on things as you modify the car more.

I do sell various Blitz and Greddy boost controllers in the Mazdaspeed Protege section of the site : http://www.mazda3online.com/index.php?cPath=27_79

There is another one from Blitz, the Sequential iD-3, that I have not added yet but will be selling. $525 shipped.

Well sounds good. I will most likely order all of it at once. So that way its all done at once and its not a pain in the ass to find help. I will check out your EBC's. Im thinkin about goin with Wagners FMIC kit since it seems like the best deal. Im definently up for it in May... that way its all done right before I go out to Cali for a few months. What day is your b-day? If youre seriously up for it just name a reasonable price. Im up for a 6 hour drive lol. I might need room and board LOL. But Im all excited cuz Im finally gonna get to do stuff for my ride. (cool) Hey KRM do you know if Wagners kit eliminates the turkey? Anywhoo....thanks again...Im so stoked right now lol

Hey I think it might as well be a meet lol. Im so excited though. Ive seriously been wanting to do something to this car. But the whole point behind wanting help from you guys and not a shop is so that I have hands on and get to learn it all so I actually know how to do it. We'll see if KRM still wants to be a teacher in May lol. (rockon)

i am up for the install. reminds me to put on my turbo kit.

count me in. give me a day and time and i will be there.

Ok, So I looked at Grayslake on the map and its probably gonna be a good 7 hour drive or more for me to get there. Plus the job, Im assuming will take more than a day so is anyone gonna be able to provide me a bed or floor or something lol. Im hoping that the parts to be installed are gonna be as follows

1. Wagners FMIC KIT w SRI
2. BOV (GReddy)
3. EBC
4. Guage Pillar Pod
5. Copper Plugs

KRM, Im probably gonna get ahold of ya about ordering that EBC here in the near future.... Before May anyways. (all depends on my disability hearing) Also, Im taking my car in to get it Flashed on Tuesday. Is there anyreason I shouldnt? Im getting butterflies and its 3 months away lol

Well being that I am usualy the guy doing 90% of the installs on the cars up here (and I dont even own a protege) I would be Glad to help you with your car :D

and since Ken and Adam offered you help.....I would be glad to help you with your car
if Adam "pro5onspeed" is going to come I would suggest buying a large package of gauze to wrap its hands, he tends to cut his hands alot

LOL.... I will invest in a few rolls..

Hey, Im down with whomever wants to help. And just so everyone knows...Im not trying to get others to do all the work.. I actually want to learn this stuff. I love to get my hands dirty and figure stuff out. Im ordering the FMIC KIT by the end of this week. Then Im gonna get ahold of KRM about the EBC and Guages.

Are Spark Plugs a pain to install? If so I will have a shop do them ahead of time.
