Mazmart car meet in feb, err, on March 28th

No no no, I have the bumper. The hit I got was hardly anything. A guy Korey knows painted it for me and the guy that hit me is paying for it. I mean, I just hope the guy forks up the cash in time so I can get the bumper back on the car before the Mazmart Meet.

Yeah I know Adam, he has painted several things on my car.

Cool. That makes me feel alot better. (to Korey) Not that I didn't trust you I just know that sometimes, the friend of a friend scenerio's don't always turn out to be the best.

Thanks!

LOL, I only said he has painted some things, I never said anything about the job itself. Hey if you like spraypaint then you'll love the work. kidding

Lol do I need to foward that message adam?

Thats why I put kidding on the end of it just in case sense of humor was lost in translation. I am texting with him right now, kinda, he isn't too quick to write back.

Just in case anyone is interested...I have Rogue's set of old Speed3 seats FS right now for $400 due to trying to get my engine fixed...if anyone is intersted I will bring them with me...

I would say I am interested but then again, any upgrades interest me... do I have the money for them? Absolutely NOT! If you do happen to bring them, I might drool over them... lol.

I think my car will be like it is for a little while. Once I get some nice savings going, the economy turns around a bit, and I have another DD, I plan on doing a number of things to my car. Those include but are not limited to... racing buckets, V6-T swap (or forged FSDE-T), full turbo back exhaust, and nice drop.

I actually thought about getting a forged engine and supercharging it but that doesn't make too much sense since that was the downfall of the first gen Cobalt SS'. Aren't superchargers better for bigger engines?

Back on topic! Yay! I'll be there man.

So your logic is that since Chevy screwed the pooch on a supercharger for a small bore engine, any supercharger on a small bore engine is bad?

Really?

Lol I was gonna ask isn't that the newer turbo version?

General idea is correct though...supercharges are good depending on the application. The part that hurt the cobalt is that its a factory supercharger which is limited in it upgradability.

Andrew, it's your purpose on this forum to make me look like a douche isn't it? Check out Noleson's new post. That will be my ride soon, next to your mom of course.

You do a pretty good job of doing that on your own. He just takes the opportunity to point it out... like I do to him.

I know Andrew's mom. I wouldn't say thing like that about her. Her rottweilers will eat you.

All I was trying to figure out was whether or not supercharging the MSP is even worth the effort... eventually...

No worries, Dale. It's a valid question. It really wouldn't do much with the stock turbo as it spools relatively quick since it's "small." If you had a huge turbo with lots of lag, then a roots type blower would probably be good because it builds boost at low RPMs. It isn't very efficient at high RPMs, but by that time your turbo is spooled up and making the power.

Here's a twin charged Civic from one of the local autcrossers, but he's currently in Peru looking for gold... seriously
