I'm looking for this kind of add-on to replace mine. Cuz the end of the Exhaust is not as perfect as i would like him to be...

I finally received my AEM Cold Air Intake. It's a used one, so i decided to give him another chance of being NEW ;).

The day i bought it. The previous owner had painted it silver :(. Poor quality paint ...

So i decided to remove the old paint to sset what's underneath...
It was BLUE ;)

But the overall look was not satisfying so i decided to wetsand it and repaint it.This is just after wetsand, 400-800... ready to be painted.

My wife's 06 warranty is up at the end of the year so I'm thinking going for a CAI.

Yes yes, I know, CAI is not a warranty threatening issue but I cannot afford that argument with the Mazda service guys who have been really good with my 2 cars' issues until now.

You will love this mods. ;)

Next mods is :
Drop and new wheels :D not to sure about putting a headers on this set-up... mine still have a warranty :D

does anyone have a MS3 exhast on a M5,and is their any performance gains from it along with sound from exhaust. i have a ms3 and a m5,and i jus put in a hks catback on my ms3; and wondering if theirs any benefit in installing the stock ms3 to my m5.please say yes!

NO! !! ! No benefits at all, without a CAI you will feel no gain. But the sound is just awesome... With the add-on of a CAI there's a real improvement in power and torque, around 10-12 WHP.

too bad there is no bolt-on exhaust system for Mazda 5. I would like to get Magnaflow for my 5.
Did any of you try to put magnaflow on our car?

Just got my 5 resurrected and I went strait to my doode at Monza to check on exhaust pricing. $700 installed if they don't have to custom-fit anything, which they will so add 1.5 hours of extra labor to get the fitment right.

And incidently Dima, that was priced for a Magnaflow system. I actually like the aftermarket Mazdaspeed system's noise better, but like all Mazdaspeed stuff it's overpriced. The Magnaflow doesn't sound as "rice" as a lot of the other options. Just a low-pitched burble, with a throaty rev-band.

JUST started considering getting a new car though, so I am on hold once again temporarily.

Find a MS3 stock exhaust that someone has laying around and never thought about selling. You can pick them up for around $100 and then MAYBE $150 for the install. MUCH MUCH cheaper than paying $700 just for an exhaust and another $150 for custom install and will sound very similar. I am not worried about the exhaust on the 5 but am actively working on the suspension. I have my stock MS3 springs ready for install and have already installed my stock MS3 Rear Sway Bar. Just the sway bar alone has made huge advancements in how the car performs. Just waiting for the opportunity to install the springs. Then the MS6 rims go on and MAYBE the exhaust. Not sure the wife will like that though. LOL...

You mind me asking why you put that custom install money into a lease?
