Mazdaspeed protege 2003.5 #850
Hi there im new, names chris i bought a mazdaspeed protege 2003.5 about six months ago car runs great until about twoo weeks ago, this is the problem, im in an intersection to turn left i put first gear then second gear by then im turning left and car starts to stall, like putting clutch and taking clutch it starts jumping im still hitting the acelarator rpms dont drop ,acelorator with no response when jumping starts, no lights in dash so when the cluch engagas it starts peeling ruber one feels like an idiot hoo doesnt know how to shift, i took it to the mazda they could not figure out what was the issue, the only solid lead they had was that my fuel pump was about to go so i changed it still no joy....:( THIS ONLY HAPPENS TURNING LEFT ,not straight not to the right, nor up a hill so its not the clutch and dout its transmission.

any help or someone that has had this problem please reply asap to my email christianolivieri@live.com

thanks

This happened to me once or twice and the car starts to jerk really bad then out of no where it starts too boost really hard correct?

were you low on gas at the time? I am not aware of an issue like that. Maybe you were just low on gas

has nothing to do with fuel changed fuel pump ect. remember it does it only to the left psi in fuel tested normal

currently with a mechanic checking electricals and vac lines ect. and looking at steering colum this would be alot easier if this same issue could have happened to someone else.... before i have to rip apart the hole car.

i know on rx7s that this will happen when something happens to the baffles in the fuel tank. i cant remember what specifically though. ill try to find it

what do rpm's dip to? lights on dash flash like car is trying to die? do you have a vacuum guage? even if check engine light is burnt out it will still store codes in memory that autozone could check

Wow a problem that I have yet to have with this car lol (knock on wood) but i guess never say never.

Good luck man but I'm at a loss...

Ended up beeing the battery.... Liquid acid would move to one side on a turn shorting out
