Mazdaspeed or H&R lowering spring users..please chime in

Yeah, the whole springs causing bad bearings things sounds to me like the stealership feeding you a line to get your money. I went in for an oil change once and was told I should let them do an alignment for 60 bones and when I told them no, the guy said that was fine but just so I know Mazda could void my warranty if I ever had any suspension problems if I didn't do regular alignments. Most of those guys just want your money. Period.

The only thing I can say is I guess I'm lucky to be friends with the service guy and Manager....otherwise there is ONLY 1 word for them....!! BASTARDS!

the car was making creaking and clicking noises when starting from a stop in 1st or reverse. the car has about 48k miles the springs about 20k. according to the dealer lowering the stance of the car changed the axle geometry and put the AXLE bearings under stress.
the car was aligned after the spring install, and does need the rear camber arms. i have since had no unusual tire wear or any other signs of bad suspension until the creaking began a few weeks ago

In that case I would be checking bushings....

are you still on stock struts/springs.?

If you want to install them for cheap let me know when you want to do them. I have access to Ft. Myers auto shop and they have every tool needed to swap out springs. It will cost you $6/hour on the lift. I did my coilovers on my Saabaru and did a strut and spring swap on a wrx wagon and both took only 2hours to do.

thanks for the heads up Goob, but I think for time and trouble I'm going to get them installed by a shop so just incase anything gets jacked up they will be responsible. plus time is money when you have a 8 month old at home.
