mazdaspeed hood bra? anyone got any pics?

If you ever plan on using a clay bar on your car, then the clear bra may not be right for you. I had Avery installed on my car for about a year. Clay and dirt tend to get stuck around the edges. It'll drive you nuts if you're somewhat a perfectionist. If Avery is the easiest to peel off then I'd hate to see how difficult the other brands are. I spent a whole day cleaning up residue after I ripped it off.

From now on, I plan on using the Mazdaspeed front mask for long drives and track duty. It looks nice for those purposes, I think.

I used a clay bar before I put the clear bra on, I dont think it makes sense to use the clay bar on the clear bra but I use it on the rest of the car. I am a bit of a perfectionist but I havent had too hard of a time clearing the dirt away from the edges. How did the Avery bra hold up after a year? Why did you remove it?

It started to develop permanent water spots that I cannot remove with clay or my orbital. The color variation between the protected side and non-protected side became more noticeable (read: yellowing). I just wasn't happy with it so I decided to remove it. I'm probably not the right candidate for clear film protection - car not garaged 100% and slightly OCD.

Of course your results may vary. It's very good paint protection, no doubt. And I've gotten compliments on it. I guess it's personal preference.
