I just got off the phone with Mazda Parts technical. The Mazdaspeed exhaust will be available for order around the middle of the month. Only 150 will be available at that time.

Any updates on this? I'd like to see what the Mazdaspeed turbo-back exhaust can do for us, and cost. Is there any more information on this or are the details under wrap until it's officially released?

the mazdaspeed exhaust will be a cat-back. not turbo back. i called parts technical again last week and the exhaust was due for a final approval last week, and definately will be shipping either 2nd week in may or may 2nd. i can't remember what the mazda parts order screen said. but regardless it will be out next month for sure.

How big is the stock downpipe? Will the Mazdaspeed catback be compatible with aftermarket 3" downpipes?
