Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody had the Mazdaspeed cat-back exhaust currently installed on their Speed3 and if so, how do you like it and did you feel any significant performance increases from it.

No great performance increase as has been stated multiple times. Sounds great.

I have one. I like it. Did I get $560 worth of performance? No. Did I add to the fun of driving? yes.

People say no gains but honestly, It feels a little better in the meat of the band and toward redline. Actual or perceived? Does it matter?

Thanks guys. I was just looking for the best way to get a little performance increase as well as a better sounding exhaust, without making my car non-street legal or paying a small fortune. Do you think the Mazdaspeed CBE is my best option or something else?

I'd go with the best deal you can find. I don't see how a cat back could affect anything in regards to unforeseeable warranty work. There's nothing "before" it.

meaning....he doesn't want to loud as hell adn get pulled over every other day. i feel for his situation and know what he means. Turbo XS is the only REALLY loud cat back I've heard so far. Sounds good but again could be trouble if you're looking for something quite.
