Mazdaspeed Camshafts question

Mazdaspeed Camshafts: Anybody got 'em? I found a site that offers them for $399(not including shipping, of course) and I was wondering whether they are worth the money. Also, how much did it cost for install. People are telling me $500+, and 12-15 hp isn't worth over 1000 bux in my opinion. Any input appreciated!

Yeah there is a big mess at wagner but they do make awsome quality products. They are currently doing a GB over at www.protegeclub.com in the vendor section for the cams. The thing is you have to be patient since the the whole "nick incident" happened andy has a huge ass amount of work to do. For example my headers were suppose to be completed and done and shipped. But I will have to wait another 2 weeks or more for them to arrive at my doorstep the same with goes with people on the MSP mid-pipe GB over here.

I like mine, but you won't see 12-15 with them. I installed them myself, so it made it much more worth it. I believe, as a general rule of thumb, you can usually expect to pay about $100/hp.

But is there a noticable increase in performance? The main problem I have is that if I install the Mazdaspeed cams, it won't void my warrenty, and that makes it a helluva lot easier on me, since I paid a good amount for the 100,000 mile warrenty.

not reallly 2-3 hp increase maybe 5hp increase in total.

You'll see more of a gain with I/H/E. Any one mod won't do much on this motor.
