Mazdaspeed CAI Installed!

talked to my dealer in san antonio today, and he said once i install the cai that the rest of my warranty is blown for the car, which is only 36 days old. . . what a bunch of crap, its like no matter what if something happens theyre going to try to blame it on my cai, even though its from the manufac., so be careful out there b/c once that 12m/12k is up, if it throws a code, you are on you own to pay for it, even with warranty on the car

Im thinkin of just putting the stock one back on if something happens. That would be simple right???

Actually, I have the HKS on now with the stock airbox minus the resonator. It still has some sound in recirc....but it's not loud at all. I am putting an Injen CAI in this weekend with the HKS to see if that makes it any louder.

And yes, the CAI is pretty loud, but I would think you'd hear the BoV pretty good with one. The stock BPV was pretty noisy when I had the Mazdaspeed CAI on.
Thats tight! I want some noice. Im getting my CAI on the first, I was set on the INJEN but i have looked at others... Why are you going with the Injen over the Speed cai??

I have the MS3 and talked to my dealer and as long as its a Mazda CAI it maintains the warranty. Its a factory upgrade so I would call them back again cause he was wrong.
