yeah, plus 280 lb-ft torque too. Seems like Mazda hired someone from the forum to generate some ideas. Does anyone have an idea of price range? I'm guessing somewhere around $28K. Have no clue though.

Sticker price starts at 27k and can go up to @35k with the planned option packages. There will be a "Premium Package" and a "Grand Touring" setup as well.

27k for Mazdaspeed 6 is not bad. It would beat the pants off an IS300 costing about the same.

Another note...from here on out it appears that the Mazdaspeed line is no longer really "limited" production. My dealership already has a '05 Mazdaspeed Miata (different racing harts and color choices)....and my relativly small Mazda dealership is getting 30 MS6's. I am going to have to exercise EXTREME personal restraint to avoid buying one when they come in. It is going to be the "fastest, best handling" car Mazda has ever produced according to the Mazda rep for our district. The Mazdaspeed 3 will not even have preliminary specs released for another year....so don't listen to any rumors you may hear.

THE 3 looks hideous. Its hard to fathom Mazda, a company with good aesthetic design principles, designing that. Must be a Ford or Volvo genes.

The only Mazda I see making the switch to is the Mazdaspeed 6. Im not so sure though. The (bad) boy racer in me would rather get a EVO in the same class. Or maybe a New NSX/RX7/Supra sport car 2 dr if they are available.

Where have you been? IMO the 3 Sedan looks great especially with Autoexe touching it.

The MS3 better look like a retarded step child if I want to keep my car and make more near porn reviews of it.

EVO isn't in the same class as the MS6. It's more along lines with the Subie Legacy GT turbo
