It's a joke. Get a life. Stop being so defensive.

~Butthurt Asshat (what ever the **** that means.)

Nah, just send it to the garbage. He doesn't even care about the seats anymore so it's no longer needed.

STFU (braindead

I'm not the one who brought it back up. The other guy did because he's butthurt about me saying that FWD is crap for racing.

So F off, with your gay ass anime avatar. (pow)

my butt didn't hurt because you said FWD sucks, you just said show me one time attack FWD car that has won, and i did and it was a MAJOR event with major tuners. and you are now offended that you got PWNED and taking it out on all the intelligent people on the board. What people are trying to say is that a 240 is NOT a sports car, ask your insurance company. Heck i don't even consider an S2000 a sports car.
You got your panties all in a bunch when people tried to tell you that a 240 wasn't a sports car and got all offense going off on people about the msp, and trust me i'm pretty sure NO ONE on this forum will consider their MSP a sports car, and those same people would not consider a 240 a sports car, even if it does have 300 HP. Take your soft chasis, drop top, 300 HP dyno queen on over to 240.org or whereever you may go.

as far as what you started this forum for, to have the seats physically mount into an MSP you would just have to fab brackets or figure a way to mount the msp sliders to the MSP seats. We did this in my friends TurboII with the racing seats, just drilled new mounting holes in his stock sliders that allowed us to attach to his new seats. My only concern with the MS3 seats is that they may be too wide to fit between the door and the center console, but i'm not sure someone may want to measure them and see if they would fit.

To solve this.. Lets ask the insurance what they consider a sports car.. I know my insurance company doesnt consider my msp a sports car or I would be paying a high ass note.. I pay 160/month for full coverage..

oh my god i want your insurance (omg)

BTW, another GA member is putting the seats in his car now. the passenger side went in no problems, but the driver is taking him longer.

$160 dollars a month for full coverage is cheap? I pay about that and there is good reason mine is so high, if I had a wiser past I would be less than $100 for the MSP, which my company categorizes as a sports car because of the turbo, my 240sx was also considered a sports car by my insurance but it was only $80 a month, but my S-10 Blazer was categorized as a sports car as well, so maybe asking insurance what is a sports car isn't gonna work for arguements sake.

Alot of it depends on where you live and the required coverage as well as your deductible. I am only 21 and I have full coverage for 180 a month. Might go up a little though since i just got a speeding ticket.

definitely would like to see some pics!

did teh passenger side just bolt straight in without any issues?

what are the issues on the driver side?

and also, did he get them off a salvaged ms3?

subs for pics...

Pics??????

I am sure once he is finished getting them both in he'll be posting them up. I wasn't around when he did them but he did send me a pic on my phone of the passenger seat in. He told me it went right in, not sure if he used ms3 sliders, his oem protege sliders, or the sliders from his DAD racing seats, by sliders I mean brackets, sorry for the confusion. I'll be sure to let him know there are inquirys and get the answers for you. He got the seats from a member that was stripping interior out of his track only MS3 (must be nice to have that in a brand new car), and I think the problem with the drivers side is fabing a bracket to attach the slider in the car. We have a good friend that is great at that so I am sure they'll be in sometime soon when they both have time to get together. I'll ask him some more questions though. I am curious about the clearance with the wrx harness bar he has in the car, the DAD seats had plenty of clearance. I'll let you know when I know.

Here's what I could gather from him....

as of this moment, the passenger one is the MS3 slider on top of the slider and bracket that he has on his DAD race seats, but it sits kinda high, so he is going to remove the DAD slider and mount the 3 slider directly to his DAD bracket. That should lower it back to normal hieght.

the drivers seat mechanics are completely different than the passenger and the slider is riveted to the seat, so he is going to drill out the rivets to remove the slider and use the DAD slider bracket combo.

so that is 3 slider/ aftermarket bracket for the passenger and aftermarket slider and bracket for the driver seat. He just needs to finish drillign out the rivets to remove the 3 slider when he has some time to work on it. I'll make sure he puts some pictures up and I'll talk to him about maybe a write up.

BTW, anybody that is intersted, I know I guy with a wrecked one that is looking to sell the interior. Unfortunately he paid a bit for the salvage so he will need to make his money back. He is looking to sell the whole interior as a package, or just the front seats alone. He also is looking to sell the front clip (the car was rear ended) the motor only has like 1000 miles on it and the damn thing still smells like it was just driven home from the dealer. It was sad, I have seen and sat in it.
