Mazda6 Sakata is back

Mazda is offering special edition Mazda6 Sakata models again this spring. These come with the 1.8-litre (118bhp) petrol engine and specification including metallic paint, a single-slot CD player, a rear spoiler and six airbags. Two paint colours are available, Strato Blue or Sparking Silver. Prices start from 13,595, or 12,995 if bought via Mazda's MultiOptions finance scheme, including a 600 deposit contribution.

The Sakata is based on the outgoing Mazda6, however: revised 6s go on sale later in the summer, with modified engines, new transmissions, upgraded interior quality and revised suspension and handling. There should be discounts available on all outgoing versions of the 6 in the run-up to the launch of the new versions, so it's worth haggling hard.

118bhp in a 6, I bet it can not get out of its own way. This version would never sell well here in the states.
