2009~2013 Mazda6 Nav Unit replacement question

Hello, I have a question regarding the factory 2009 GH navigation unit.

The map CD mechanism is broken in the factory unit that I have, so I purchased a different one for parts. The seller told me that this unit doesn't support the Bose speakers and that it wont work in my car which I tested later and found out that it does work, with the only difference being the loudness at different volume numbers. (Old unit at 20 sounds like the parts one at 5)

I took it to a shop to have the CD mechanism transplanted from the parts unit to my unit but they are totally different even though they are the same from the outside. So I scrapped that idea and decied to use the parts unit instead.

My question is, will the new unit affect sound quality? (since apparently it's from a non Bose car)

You have a standard size double din opening. Quit wasting money on a substandard quality factory unit and upgrade to an Alpine, Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, or Sony with Android Auto/CarPlay.

Personally I run Kenwood, and couldn't be happier.
