Mazda5 air vent clip/tab/lever.....is missing!

Hello Everyone,
New 2008 MZ5 Sport owner here. I just bought it and everything looks great, except for one thing... The little passenger window side air vent tab or clip or lever is missing. It seems like no big deal until someone gets in and mentions it is not there over and over and over again. (eek2) Anyway, where might a fellow pick one of these up?

You can order pretty much any little part through your local dealer. When we bought our '07 a few years ago, it was missing a few small interior plastic parts as well as the little almost-carpet-like peices that lay in the bottom of the inside-door-pull. Was able to order all of it for a few bucks per part. It's an easy way to get parts but, some parts can be ridiculously priced and then it's best to find a local wrecker and see if they have some mazda 5's in.

I hope you don’t mean the little vent piece used to direct air flow. If it is, you are in a tough spot. My previous ’08 was also missing that piece (also passenger side) and I looked into it. You can find diagrams for the dash and find the part number BUT the problem is it “seems” you have to tear the dash apart installed it… I never fixed it and sold the car as is. I hope I'm wrong.

Thank you for the quick replies guys! Silentnoise.....yes this is the same part we are talking about...oh well. Such a simple part on every car, but just don't lose it! Thanks again, I'm off to the junk yard!
