Bought this a long time ago to try to get it to work with my P5. It never worked, and now I have a WRX. $40 shipped?

The fob is 2 parts: the remote part and the key part. The key part, if the OP has not cut it yet, can be cut with the same key as your original ones. If the OP has already cut the key, you would have to go to your dealer and get the key part and get it cut.
