Does anyone have any info on how reliable the Mazda turbos are?

AFAIK the engine’s been sold since 2016, and while some owners have experienced problems - some severe - most including myself have not. What year are you looking at?

Are you talking specifically about the turbocharger? Or the engine and turbo? I don't think I've seen any complaints or issues regarding the turbo itself, though I'm sure they're out there.

Yes, I haven't seen any complaints or reports of turbo failure. My personal experience is pretty limited (almost 50k mi on a 2018 CX-9), but zero issues with mine.
