mazda speed exhaust question

are the exhaust systems from the axle back the same on the P5 and the protege sedan? i'm thinking of buying the mazdaspeed axle back. thanks in advance.

The axleback is the same exhaust, however the P5 and Sedan are different model numbers. The difference being the sedan is longer then the wagon is.

1 year old, started life as a sedan but had mazda shorted the tip.

Nope....both exhausts are different sizes. The sedan is slightly longer than the P5 version. I found out the hard way and now my tip sticks out a few inches.

thanks. i dont mind it being shorter, i have to get a new muffler anyways as my protege was rear ended last week and the chick did a real number on the stock muffler so i'm going to have them pay for an aftermarket axle back. that and i miss the sound of the loud exhaust from my escort before it was totaled out. so thanks again.
