Mazda screwing our resale value?

Local Dealers are selling new Protege 5's for $13,200!! That sucks, I was hoping to get $12k for my car. This really devalues the car! Maybe it really is the right time to get that WRX wagon

Unfortunately, I need to sell it now, I found a WRX wagon I want (sorry, I maybe selling out on you guys) What do you think is a reasonable price to ask for my car: 02.5 P5 Blue, moonroof, racing beat exhaust, mint condition, 13,400 miles

There's a dealer down here advertising them for $12,999. Take a trip save some cash, use the money for a visit to Universal or something.

Good for new buyers, but it sucks for current owners. . .

Current prices in the Maryland/DC area on new P5s are about $5K off MSRP, give or take $200. That's with the rebates.

Just got my 2003.5 (AT, ABS, wheel locks, bumper guard) for $13,985 +TTL.

SO unfortunately, Mopho, now is not the best time to be trying to sell a used one.

Why didn't I wait a while??? I bought mine a month and 10 days ago for 15,500 and 0% finance. It was the best deal in my area at the time I don't even want to know how much they're asking now. Just out of curiosity I went to a different dealer and told them I wanted an RX-8 and to tell me how much they'd give me for my car and they said 10,000!!! :mad:

Im not sure is it the promotion... or are they selling the p5 to make room for the Mazda3....
