as it has been discussed in this forum regarding the rmp going up when the car is in idle i have noticed a similar issue with my 2002 P5.
in the morning when i start the car and put it in drive (auto) the rpm will shoot up to like 2k before it goes to 2nd gear. i am a very smooth drive and doesn't give it a lot of gas. does anyone has any idea about this issue.
