Mazda Protege Owner Photos

Yea everyone keeps telling me the milage is low. I had it in the Mazda dealership recently for service and 2 different salesmen were trying to buy the car (to resell) because of the low milage. They both told me that all 2002 and 2003 Protege's and M3's they are getting have over 70,000.

I have had the car since 2003. It was a dealer demo with 4,000 miles when I bought it. For the last couple of years I was doing extensive traveling with work so the car was not being driven. I am now back to driving it daily but I have been waiting on the extended warranty to expire to mod it. The extended is more restrictive then the original warranty.

I have to say it is the best car I have ever owned. I have yet to have a problem with it. I only have dealers trying to **** me on service.

I need to stay away from the dealer. I now want a MS3.

I use to go to the dealer for oil changes while it was under warranty but its lowered now and I can get it done anywhere other than my house lol. I don't even know what the dealer would think of my car if I brough it in for something. They would probably have to run the VIN just to find out what it is lol.

My 2003 ES has something like 57,000 miles on it. Maybe 58,000 by now.

Yours is also under mileage.

From what I am seeing there are actually are a lot that are under. My neighbor has a black 2001 P5 with only 38,000 miles that he has moded the hell out of. There is a Blue 2000 P5 with only 39,000 for sale on CarMax. Another neighbor just stole a 2005 RX-8 Touring with only 9,000 miles on it for $18,000.

With a lot of people including my neighbors their Mazda is a second car and not driven daily. Mine is low only because I was not driving it for months at a time plus mine is a little higher then it should be only because it has been to Cali and back twice.

Yay, a sand mica ES :) You coming to Carlisle next weekend? It would be cool to have another sand mica to park next to, last year the silver P5's dominated everyone else.

Hopefully, I should have some new pics soon. Hoping to have my car out of the body shop this weekend. The refinished MSP wheels and new tires should be at my friends shop by then too.

Yeah hopefully. and by then I should have my Black FDs on. Maybe side skirts too.

Noice. I'll be there around 10:30 next Saturday, i'll try and save a spot next to my car.

My car definitely needs a stop at the body shop. To many tiny little dents to count.

LOL I have to get a few dents fixed too, but that will have to wait. I wouldn't have the car done in time if I had them fixed now. They are just repairing and repainting the bumper this time.

To Carlisle? Yeah you need to register for non-show to bring your car onto the field. It gives you 2 passes for the weekend so you can bring a friend in with you. Register here:

If you drink, bring some booze. We will be having a get-together in the Mazda section (cheers)

And since I will be posting new pics soon, here's a pic of my car before going into the shop.
