215s are pretty much the limit on stockers, and a few people have squeezed 225s on with 17 inch rims and aggressive suspension setups. Actually, the front is where there are rubbing issues...there's plenty of room in the back.

You have bulges on the tire itself? If so take those back. They have to replace them because they didn't get seated properly or a bad batch of tires. If you continue to drive on them for awhile then you will have them blow out on you. Not good.

so if i was to get 205/50/16 i would be fine for both front and back right? and if i wanted to go low pros i can go 215/45/16 yes? no?

Or he hit a pothole and ruined the tire himself.
It's nothing to do with "seating" properly, that doesn't cause a bulge in a tire...
Bad tires maybe though.

I have 205's on mine and I'm rubbing on the fenders around corners, but I'm dropped too. Just have to roll fenders.

My brother had a bulge on the tire and when he took it back for a FREE replacement the tire guy/assistant/lackey said it was due to improper installation. His words not mine. It can be a bad tire though. My dad used to work for a tire company. Word to the wise, never get tires at Wal-Mart as they get the lowest grade tires.
I am running stock sizes(195/50/R16). Not applicable to this topic.

I've never seen anything from improper install for bulges in sidewalls, just saying my experience.

Yes they do get the lowest grade it's awful lol but tire size wise I'm sure you can fit something that's pretty wide but it depends if you wanna do spacers and roll fenders etc.

Isn't it the other way around? You mean rubbing the strut of the fender?

i dont know guys i have looked and i have more then enough room with the 215s on........im going to find a cheap set of used 225s and see whats happens but i have 20$s that says it will fit(on my car at least)
