nice work.....I dont think I have ever seen anyone use this motor in a conversion

Should be rather straightforward thing to do, but it would probably be easier to get a 323F from Europe, deal with the paperwork to get it registered and then change the speedo dial to miles. You can get complete 323F DiTD with some small problems from EUR 1500,- Double that and you can probalbly get a not so high km decent one, shipping to Florida shouldn't be that expensive if you choose roro.
But the RF-TDi is based on rather old technology, especially considering all the things that has happened to diesel engines tha last 10 years compared to gasoline ones.
From what I've read Mazda 3 diesels prior to Skyactiv uses an old block but the rest is much newer technology, Commonrail insted of unit injectors to mention one important thing, and you get up to 185hp from a 2.2l MZR CD engine (in Mazda 6 configuration.)
