seems like kz9's running away with it.....

It'll all come down to the number of votes that count.

by my count the actual tally right now is:

msp03.5 - 20
kz9 - 19
jbiird - 13
highwayUFO - 7

I understand the reason the post count rule was put in place, but the senior members dont seem to be voting, kz9 and I are in the lead but we each have 13 voters that dont have enough posts, kinda takes the fun away from it if you ask me....

thanks nova... i dont believe he has any hard numbers yet just guesstimates. i cool be wrong(dunno)

I'm not trying to de-rail this thread but I think this goes back to what ForceFed suggested last month. A lot of the members that have been here for a while have seen many MOTMs go by. I'm sure many (like myself) just get sick of seeing the same cars, month after month with the general exception of one or two. I'll admit there have been several months I haven't voted because I just didn't like any cars. I'm not going to vote on the car I'm "least bored with".

i mean ive been around this site for a while now (longer than you have technically) and I just dont see a problem with people entering over and over. i guess i am biased on that tho lol... I just cant imagine why people would not vote? To make a statement about the cars being entered? this is supposed to be a fun contest for people to show off the cars theyve worked so hard on and hopefully get some recognition for it, some people just take it way too seriously.

I dont want to go too OT and ruin this thread, so I dont think we need to discuss this too much more in here, but I stand by my original statement that this contest seems to have lost its fun

the silver 2003.5 from colorado is amazing looking good job i love it that is the reason i bought this color

I feel the post count keeps thing fair and honest. But maybe 50 is a little better then 100. Just my opinion.

Well, yes and no. With as much traffic as this site gets, I'm sure 100 posts is more than reasonable. Think of it this way, anyone can contact people on another website, tell them about MOTM, have them come over and register. If you told your friends that the only catch is a 100 post count, I'm certain they wouldn't even bother, unless you have killer friends. The winner would win off of popularity with friends rather than a virtually unbiased vote.

Exiting soapbox, I'm going to go drive my car.
