Yeah the small amount of things done to your car in my eyes still makes it a stocker, but please dont take offence to it. I love your car, I was more or less just trying to figure out how it does so well against some very well put together cars, thats all. I got lucky and spent all my time and effort on the car before I had a family. Those days are long gone my friend LOL

I believe this is the case because most members vote based on their feelings about a ride and not simply because it's had a ton of modifications...I find what it takes to win the MOTM is the RIGHT combination of mods and character...a combination that really makes the voters FEEL something about the ride...maybe that is somehow related to how strong the "bond" is between the owner and their Mazda.

Maybe because you just joined the club 8 days ago? People don't know ya that well and yet you have so many votes? Heck I don't really know, I'm just here for the cool people and cool cars.

Well...the amount of time I've spent alone on my car doing the "little" things really pays off and that's how I like it. When I say alone, I don't mean by myself all the time because I have such great Mazda friends here that are always willing to lend a hand. It's the community. Thanks all!

That is the great thing about this competition. Usually each month there is a car style for everyone. Some like highly modded rides and some like lighter modded rides. To me there is nothing wrong with it cause I build my car to my tastes and what I like. I also enjoy competing on the show circuit with it and just like here sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I think each of the cars up there are deserving to win MOTM.

I have to say this is the MOST diverse forum and friendliest forum that I have EVER been a member of. I really appreciate the vastness of peoples opinions here! I just want everyone to understand that I'm not here complaining about one wining over another I was more or less trying to understand why Altspace is doing so well. I NEVER expected to do so well because just like you said I am new here and nobody knows me. I just figured that some of the proteges would have pulled ahead that's all.

I'm ecstatic over all the votes that I've received, so please keep them coming LOL

Actually, having a car w/ that kind of work / attention to detail (neating up the engine bay some would be my only suggestion) probably helps more lol

I know exactly what one looks like. That's why it's not a huge deal. Just suggesting that a couple wire tucks / bundling some stuff together to get rid of what little spider web there is in there would make it uber clean
