KillerBee, MSP SuperStreet, I am really loving both your engine work and performance mods. But I have to ask you both what your building these cars for? I am in shock at the amount of audio crap both of you are hauling around in these cars you have gone out of your way to modify performance wise.
I have to wonder are these cars built for drag strip/ race track/street performance or for show.

Superstreet, I assume you run nos at the drag track, none of this is of any use there (and sorta defeats any weight savings from the carbon fiber parts):

My goal is an overall balanced performance and show car. Our Ride may not be the fastest, biggest HP, best handling on the tract or have the loudest audio but it it could hold its own in either one of those categories. There are many Rides out there that are the fastest/biggest HP, have the loudest most most powerful audio sytems or great autocross/tract cars and I appreciate their owner's the hardwork and dedication to make them the best in their respective category. I also respect and appreciate other Mazda owners who are plugging along and striving to build the best Ride the can given the limited resources (time & money) knowing they may never best the "Best" but they LOVE their RIDES just as much none-the-less. Each Ride is reflective of an individual Mazda owner what could be more exciting. Rather than all cars following the same modification template.

The Ride is also a Father/Son project. My son is 14 yrs old now and over the past two years we have collaborated on building the car with our wants and vision. Of course he enjoys the monitors, Playstation and audio system. He gets the most enjoyment playing playstation while we're on the road or passing the time at car shows. He is currently saving money so he can buy a XBox 360 to replace the Playstation. He also gets a kick out of the NOS System and Yes we rarely use it - but hey he thinks it COOL = Dad's Cool. I anticpate his interest will shift to more performance as he gets closer to driving age and the Car will evolve.

Overall I have strived to keep the look of the Mazdaspeed clean and not cross the line into the "Rice" category and over do it.

In the end, the rotm provides members the opportunity to judge a Ride given modifications in several categories as displayed in Antoine"s "Example":

The Mazda Forum Community is very large and diverse and our Ride may be unusual or condratictory to some. But I would hope there could be mutual respect (i.e. "amount of audio crap") for the wide variety of devoted Mazda Enthusiast. To me there are no true "Losers" in the rotm competition - Only Members Who Truely Love their Ride and Want to Share their Enthusiasm with other Mazda Forum Members.
