Yea i've been on Probetalk for many years. I just kinda swing by on here to visit the other side of the family lol. Oh and as for the MX-6 and PGT similarities, the 6 has a shorter final drive tranny (butthump)

We need more old schoolness, PGT's CAn be hawt done properly.

As much as I like all other cars platform/tech sharing and all, don't we have enough Mazda's to showcase here? I'd like to buy a calender at some point and would rather have all Mazda in it. Otherwise we might as well had a Ford Focus in the mix too. Just my .02

But a ford focus is not a Mazda cross over.

The PGT has all Mazda blood and the styling of a mustang if you will. I got no problems with fords that are masked Mazda's

Reppin Mazda for life even if they are in a costume.

No but we could have the Escort since it shares a similar chasis as the Protege. But cmon man, a Probe with the Mazda insignia wouldn't be bad. (eek2)

Not the same at all. the rx-8 does not share the platform of any Ford car. Also the rx-8 as I am sure you know features the rotary engine. Many other car manufacturers tried to make it fly but failed. Mazda is the only one to date that still produces a car with that particular motor. The rotary signifies Mazda and the rx-7 is its most beloved car which has been replaced by the rx-8

So putting a ford sign on your rx-8 would be WRONG in a million ways.
You see the PGT and MX-6 were all made in a ford plant in AMERICA. The engineering and development/ designs were all made in Hiroshima japan. Made in America to cut cost I do believe.

I highly doubt the Fords with Mazda hearts are going to swipe a win anytime soon with the variety of "proper" Mazdas getting better & better each month...There is no harm in letting Maords enter the MOTM...It's all in the name of fun anyway...If we start having more & more Maords show interest in the MOTM...Then the rules will be adapted accordingly...At this point it's not a big deal so grab a cold one and enjoy the show!

Did a quick search...I see it's a restaurant chain...lol...Not really kosher IMO but then again the Japanese have a ton of fake churches built purely for fake christian weddings...So in this case it's the same deal...$$$
