Okay..I think it's time to organize this thing again.

This time I'm looking for a new venue. And a new date as well. Sometime where we can have the miata guys come out too. I know there's been pretty good participation the past years. But I'd like to get a bigger crowd for 2008.

Any ideas, suggestions to locations that can accomodate a lot of cars, be reasonably traffic free, and out of town.

So let's hear it!

Bragg Creek.....Kananaskis Country....Nice roads and not a whole lotta traffic.
Let me know of your tentative dates as I missed 2007 due to a business trip.

Listen Glen, you & Nick get your lazy, no-good, 2-4 noth'in butts to: Golden, BC!

Come on, drive you wussies!

We would Dion, but we need kind of a "day trip" for everyone... I dunno, last year it was too packed I guess. I kinda didn't mind it, that road into there is sweet.

Bragg Creek / elbow falls isn't bad, but that's not really "in the mountains" or anything... We've just outgrown the venues, we get bigger and bigger every year! :D

How's about somehwere past banff? Like if we go up to Lake Louise or something, there's some big parking lots up there, but how full they'll be is beyond me...

(bicker) fine then *big pout* (rei)

A trip to Golden would be sweet. Considering it's only a 3 hour drive. I'll definitely consider it. If we held it on a Saturday, we can go camping and come back on Sunday.

fernie, crowsnest pass, banff is too close, revelstoke, penticton, orrr.... dundurn saskatchewan...*blink blink* =|

why golden boo...lets go somewhere nice like penticton for peach fest or kelowna, go somewhere for something not somewhere for nothing

If you guys want to camp for the night then you may have to book a site, I'm not sure if you could just pitch a tent anywhere at the side of the road.
I still think that a 1-2hr drive is good enough.

Waterton would be nice. 3 hour drive. Lots of photo opportunities. There's places to eat. Enough parking. Nice roads.

Make it Waterton. I'm in for this time for shizelle. Waterton is a great place, beautiful, wonderful roads, and as mentioned before a ton of photo opportunities.
