mazda factory warranty within 1 year replace any wear and tear items?

:
CX-5, fwd auto
Hi,
this is my first new SUV (CX-5) in many years. I was reading the warranty and wondered if your car is within 1 year, will the dealer replace any wear and tear items?
Those with experience, what items have you replaced/
thank you

The warranty will tell you exactly what Mazda will and will not cover. I do not believe that any wear and tear items are covered at any time, although it's possible that the Canada warranty is different than ours in the USA.

Nothing should happen to any wear and tear item (tires/brakes) but if it does and can be seen to not be abuse on your part they will likely cover it.

Nope. Mazda Canada specifically does not warranty wear and tear items like belts, wiper blades, brake pads, etc. You can buy tire insurance though, but that's more of a road hazard kinda thing. I declined everything that I could. Don't need it. Was flipping through the latest consumer reports and for the CX5 it says 1st year reliability higher than predicted. Mazda builds quality (despite the few on this site with problems) Less issues with my Mazda so far than with my previous Honda...and I bought the extended warranty on that.
