Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and not sure if this has been asked before.
I just bought Mazda CX7 and the inside of the tail light is melting.
There is already a hole with a size of a penny and it is constantly melting while I am driving.
I am using 12V-21/5W 7443 Dual Filament Halogen bulb that seems to be the same as a stock one.
I already tried to use several 7443 Dual circuit SMD LED lights but it just won't work properly

If I use 7443 LED bulb, once I have my running light on, for some reason I have the LED Brake Light which is at the middle top part of the trunk stay on at all times even if I am not pressing the brakes. Also, I noticed that the LED heat up faster than usual and eventually burn out. Mine last 1 day.
I believe this is because the way the LED bulb is manufactured ( I took apart one of the LED bulbs and realized that both +'s and both -'s are kind of tied together with one of +'s having a small resistor compared to halogen where they have two separate filaments completely isolated from each other).
At this point I am really stuck and do not know what to do.
I would really appreciate if someone could give me an advice on how to have tail light brake/running light running on red LED with no side effects.
