Mazda Canada is pissin me off

my dealership WON'T fix my sway bar and the clunk so i called mazda canada today to see what is the problem,
i even gave my dealership the F@#Kin part number and still they think there is nothing wrong and untill mazda canada tells the dealershp that there is a problem they will not Fix anything!!!
i am gettin sooooooooo pissed!!..

Come to Toronto to get it fixed.... they fix it for oyu hear no problems.... what I dont' understand is that the delearship get paid for working on your car.... why wouldn't they want to make money??? weird.... they did mine in Toronto....

well, was in for my monthly bushing change. My dealer decides to call Mazda Canada to see if somone finally had the "fix". They tell my dealer to take a plastic bottle cap from a windsheild washer bottle, wrap it around the sway bar, and put the bushings over that.

Now think about this......plastic, and metal, rubbing together over every bump......what kinda of god damn moron even dreams this up!

Needless to say, the end result was far worse then the clunk itself.

So, moral of the story is, Mazda of Canada is still clueless, and will be the deciding factor of whether my next car is a Mazdaspeed (6?) or a new accord 240 hp 6 spd coupe.

What do you mean by Mazda Canada having no clue? The fix is NOT replacing the bushing, but replacing the links. It will still give the squeaky noise if the car fly through a speed bump. Other than that, I have not had any problems so far.

My dealer (Westowne in Etobicoke) told me that they got the fix & parts number from Mazda Canada, so someone there must know. Shawn, perhaps your dealer is not contacting the right department? Have them contact some other Mazda dealership & talk to the service departments. Good luck!

Pretty much exactly what I said. The fix is not the links. The new part is the bushings, I've got them now. Mazda Canada has admitted it's the bushings and NOT the links to my dealer and there is a new part. So, unless various people are lying directly to us and they changed the bushing part just for fun....it's the bushings.

Someone on this site claimed it was the links because it worked for him, but, Mazda has never said anything about it being the links since day one. this was only one or two people on this site saying that.

You never know, they may be the problem, but I have seen no indication of it so far, and replacing the bushings fixes it. My links were already replaced once and it didn't do anything. The noise was still there until they fixed the bushings as well.

Ever think that when your links were replaced, they replaced the bushings as well?

After callin mazda Canada and bitchin for a while, about half an hour later my dealership called saying that they just order the parts i need and they will be in soon.
its great how i was there like 4 weeks ago, tellin them there was a problem and that i knew the part number.. and them tellin me that there was no problem, amd that mazda canada had no clue there was a problem!.:bs: .. now after i called mazda canada, they finally know something about the problem.

they are so lazy to help me out, and i don't like it at all.

well at least they are finally gonna fix it for me, i just don't like that i have to go above my dealership to get things done, the dealership should be helpin me out.

Welcome to the World of Mazda Canada where nothing gets fixed and if it does it takes 5 times as long as it should

Once again I stick to my statement that Mazda Canada is more useless than tits on a bull!

Not to defend Mazda Canada, but I think your problems comes from the mechanics at your dealership having communications issues with Mazda Canada. Here is my story:

- Read a thread on this board about new bushings to fix the problem.
- E-mail bushing info, including parts number, to my dealer's service department.
- Got new bushings put on the car within 2 weeks - problem NOT fixed but actually got worse.
- Talked to mechanics at dealer again.
- They talked to Mazda Canada & got the parts number for new links.
- Got new links put on the car within 2 weeks. Problem fixed except minor noise when flying through speed bumps.

So yes, I have tried the bushing route & it did NOT work. And yes, perhaps the new links need to work with the new bushings, which came out first. In any case, good luck with your dealer ...

bit of advice, don't ever by a home, it's too much work We ust moved and I'm just now...1 week later sitting at the computer.

Well, just got the internet hooked up today so I'm happy now.

To continue my story: I got the bushings replaced again, and this time it didn't work at all. Actually got worse again. They said that the last time they put the bushings on, which were the "new" ones, they noticed that the sway bar was getting worn from all of the bushing problems....I saw it as well, and it's true. It was getting so worn, that the new bushings weren't fitting right, and were loose. I've probably gone through more bushings then anyone here thanks to our wonderful roads.

Anyhow, they said....we'll replace the swaybar. My dealer has been quite easy to deal with thank god. I suggested that we start from scratch so to speak. So, we ordered a new sway bar, links, and another set of bushings. Noise is now gone....but, only time will tell. It's been "gone" before, but returns every 5-6 weeks. So, I'll update you all around that time.

Car seems to handle much tighter as well. No surprise there.

I got it fix from the first time!

It seem like I am a bit luckier, since the head of mechanic in the dealership that I was going into has a MP3 as well. They just order the bushing! Put it on and no problem found since 4 months ago. If you want to get your MP3 fix properly. Go to the right dealership!

guess what.....sure enough, it rained pretty bad today, and as usual, when driving in the rain, the noise is more noticable. So, after getting the "new bushings", new sway bar, and new links only 4 days ago....noise is still there.Ain't so bad as before, but it's STILL there.

So, I give up. I've made up my mind. Car is going up for sale. Not right away, as we just moved, and bought a new house, but as soon as I can, it's gone. I've got no more patience for waiting for Mazda to do something about this.

Killer is, I don't know what else I want to get right now.
