Mazda 626 Rough Idle

Hi all, I drive a Mazda 626 2000 1.8L manual. Yesterday I decided to clean the throttle body and IAC valve. I put everything neatly back together and now I’m wondering what the idle relearn procedure is (assuming it needs one). Right now the idle is very rough, fluctuating from 1000-2500 rpm. It tends to go up and down relatively fast, about a second or so in between. Sometimes it just stays at 1000 rpm.

Does it need an idle relearn? And if so, how would I do that for this car?
