azian6er said:looks similar to the one i am using... It "should" fit, but dont quote me. I went with the one i did because ********** did all the dyno testing on it already and it has proven gains.
It really does suck for cullen and ********** that this manifold is the exact same. I feel really bad for them because they did all the r&D and now it comes to light it is the same as an oem piece.
It is unfortunate, but thems the breaks I guess.

igdrasil said:It fits perfect on my spare engine here. Only issues is the brake booster and egr... And it needs a custom fuel rail or the stock probe fuel rail.

You know we are all gonna burn for talking like this....But whatever...We try to save people money and we get bashed on.....(boom07)D323 said:ahahahah R&D, good one. S.U. got a 626 mani, got it to ...work and did some dyno pulls. If thats the case then everyone on the board here that has a mod where they put a little sweat into their ...car; that has dyno'd their ...car has done R&D.
You can get them for 356.65 (+ tax IM sure) at the dealer like edwin posted. Cheaper if you find a j/y one. And dont even mention the EGR bulls*** since its the same.
I dont feel sorry for SU or anyone really. They tried to pass off a *custom* part and got busted. Just admit its a 626 mani and go on about your day.
Me personally...I would get another EGR pipe and mod it to work correctly...Maybe use a stock one and the 626 one to make one that will work for our MSP's.tekkie said:I will have my manifold next week, I am going to get the 626 EGR pipe and see if that fits directly, if not I am just going to remove the EGR and be done with it![]()

Hmmmm....?
Umm what are you talking about?D323 said:no need to mod it.
Its not hating, its called the truth. I could care less about what they sell, its just sad to see one of my fellow mazda c...ar enthuasists getting ripped for an OEM part.
