Aren't you hurting your emissions though? Gaining a few ...HP to me isn't worth it.
But its worth it to the rest of us!
Now he can let the IM collect dust on the shelf at his shop...Right next to the FINELY FINISHED gauge rings....Another copy that just isnt quite what it started out to be.(boom07)

GREAT WORK BRYAN!(thumb)

I'll be ordering one tomorrow.
Thanks

looks similar to the one i am using... It "should" fit, but dont quote me. I went with the one i did because ********** did all the dyno testing on it already and it has proven gains.

It really does suck for cullen and ********** that this manifold is the exact same. I feel really bad for them because they did all the r&D and now it comes to light it is the same as an oem piece.

It is unfortunate, but thems the breaks I guess.

It fits perfect on my spare engine here. Only issues is the brake booster and egr... And it needs a custom fuel rail or the stock probe fuel rail.

I'm impressed that this is a good solution to those members who what to remove the flaps with minimal effort. It still leaves the member with the option to return to stock for "Work From Mazda" or selling it off stock.

Great Find.

ahahahah R&D, good one. S.U. got a 626 mani, got it to work and did some dyno pulls. If thats the case then everyone on the board here that has a mod where they put a little sweat into their car; that has dyno'd their car has done R&D.

You can get them for 356.65 (+ tax IM sure) at the dealer like edwin posted. Cheaper if you find a j/y one. And dont even mention the EGR bulls*** since its almost the same. You might have to get a 626 EGR pipe to get it to work.... OMGWTF???!!11.

I dont feel sorry for SU or anyone really. They tried to pass off a *custom* part and got busted. Just admit its a 626 mani and go on about your day.

You know we are all gonna burn for talking like this....But whatever...We try to save people money and we get bashed on.....(boom07)

I will have my manifold next week, I am going to get the 626 EGR pipe and see if that fits directly, if not I am just going to remove the EGR and be done with it :)

Me personally...I would get another EGR pipe and mod it to work correctly...Maybe use a stock one and the 626 one to make one that will work for our MSP's.
Hmmmm....?

no need to mod it.

Its not hating, its called the truth. I could care less about what they sell, its just sad to see one of my fellow mazda car enthuasists getting ripped for an OEM part.

Umm what are you talking about?
I was referring to modding an EGR pipe so that everything stays fuctional with the 626 Mani..Even the EGR....I am with you on the rip off for stock parts deal....I think its a crock of s***....and until he proves that his part is NOT a 626 Mani....then we will all consider it one until proof is shown...We are not asking for his "R and D" info...only something specific to show that he is not just reselling us something we can get cheaper on our own.I for one will take the chance with the 626 mani and see if it'll work....I would rather be out $50 and some time rather than drop more than the cost of a new mani if it is in fact a 626 mani or even a direct copy.
I dont play the lottery....but I like my odds on this one.
