What is the difference between mazda 3 and 6? Which one do you recommend and why?

Mazda 3 is sized like a Civic,

Mazda 6 is sized like an Accord,

Base motor on 3 series has 155 hp

Only motor on 6 series has 184 hp

The Mazda 6 is longer and wider and weighs approx. ~300lbs more.

The Mazda 3 is Light, and you can feel it's lightness.

Fitting 2 adults into the REAR seats of the Mazda 6 is much more comfortable.

I have a 6 and my wife has the 3. If you want to have an adult sit in back get the 6. If you want a more sporty ride get the 3 with the 2.5 engine. If you need a big trunk or take long road trips get the 6. If you just drive around town and don't haul kids or carpool get the 3.
