Mazda 6 - Mazdaspeed cold air intake

my husband bought it thinking it was for our car because the part number specifies the 2.3 engine.
it wasnt until we got it did we realize that it was for the 2.3t engine.

I do have a regular 6 it's in my sig pic with the Mazdaspeed 6 on the right. It's Ti-grey with the trunk open.

Sheesh like NC stated above, this sucks if it's the 3.0L V6. But I'm guessing it's the 2.3L because the Speed6 is 2.3L and when the OP bought it. He probably mistaken it for the Speed6 cold air. I will know when i receive my package. "crossing fingers hoping it's for my (2.3L 6i)

Update. Installed Mazdaspeed cold air intake and wow!! The engine growls, and i can feel the little bruce lee kick around 5-5500rpms!! Getting F2 Step header or Weapon R header next!! Which one should i get.

X2 woot woot...LOL!! I love it. Now all i need is the MS CAI for my Speed6!! I already have the PG test pipe, need CAI now!!

I'm trying to step up the N/A game with the 6i, going to get header and evs valve springs!!

You'll get to enjoy the feeling of the MS cai before i do though, and i'm sure the whoosh and power will put a smile on your face.

my speed6? nothing as of yet. the cai is going to be it for a while..i might get those megan springs though.

I tried to get the megan lowering springs for my regular 6i from protegegarage but there out.

You should notice a difference with the MS CAI!! I noticed a huge difference in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th with the PG test pipe. Our exhaust is very restrictive so gains isn't just a minimal 5-10hp more like double that.

Yeah....I guess the MS3/MS6's exhaust is very restrictive, so when changing to Test pipe, TBE, or CBE I'm sure the car opens up and it did when i took it out for a spin. My 3rd gear feels like it pulls hard when i barely accelerate it, and it feels like 1st gear when i punch it(yes)
