I have just read in the latest (23rd july) issue of Autocar that Mazda will unveil the new Mazda 6 AWD MPS at the Paris Motor show in September. The car will feature a 250 horsepower turbo version of the current 2.3 liter 4 cylinder as well as AWD. This car will be on sale next year as a 2004 model. Mazda is also planning an MPS Mazda 3 which will hopefully use the same drivetrain and offer turbo AWD power. Looks very promising for Mazda fans. Now all we need is a new RX-7 and a MPS Turbo Miata!:D

Brett.

Sounds cool...I thought the Miata was supposed to go rotary?

Although, turbo from the factory would be nice...

those things are all well and good...and certainly sound nice....but dont' hold your breath waiting on them go come to North America. we never seem to get the top of the line stuff for one reason or another.

i believe these were the rumors about the next rx7...if they bring it back...the new rx7 is supposed to still use a rotary but the body will be based off a miata...so i guess basically a rotary powered miata with an rx7 badge...
