Ha...joined in 2005 and two posts! So.....welcome?

Love the car. And it's a model year 2000 P5 then, basically. I love it.
And your OEM wheels are Enkei?

thanks.. (drinks)

lol, I know, I know, but this forum is a great source of information for us in Europe as well, because the scene is not so big as your is.. I'll post much more in the future.. (rockon)

actually it's MY1998, prefacelift, MY2000 is the facelifted one.. afaik, this model doesn't exist in the States, only sedan (Protege), right? this model here in Europe is called 323F, sedan only 323..

yes, my OEM rims are Enkei, believe it or not, on the back side you can see Enkei logo.. after 10 years of abuse they are still ''in the center'', that tells enough about their quality..

this are the Enkeis..

Oh, OK, I saw the build date and thought it was a 2000 model.
We didn't get the 5-door 323/Protege until 2002. And definitely no diesel!

Here's my 03 323F..........

jesus man! I'm surprised the damn thing still runs with an IM like that. Your definitely making some progress though, I love the new steering wheel, that is real nice.
Also, what turbo motor is that? doesn't look like the fsde at all..

Looks good. (thumb)

Croatia is a beautiful place, I hear... I hope to visit there at some point. My friend is Croatian and was back there last summer. Said it was terrible to leave.

thanks guys!

this is a turbo diesel engine, aka DITD.. to be more precise 2.0 TD (RF engine code).. it was very popular in EU and in some far east countries, because it runs w/o problems on low quality fuel.. it runs on almost everything lol..

the intake is in such a "bad condition" because this engine has about 134k miles and has never been cleaned.. will do that very soon.. it's driven mostly in the city and it's actually no surprise..

to be honest, it never stopped, never left me helpless.. no failure at all, only the spill valve on the fuel pump leaked but the car was still driveable..

ucMP3, yes Croafia is very beautiful, mountains, sea, plains, fresh water, whatever you want.. we clean our streets with drinking water lol.. what else to say.. hope you'll visit Croatia once.. :)

Hello, nice car, how are the H&R springs? I want to get a set for mine too. I have a '02 DITD 74KW.
