Hi, I am hoping that someone can help or at least point me in the right direction for an issue I am having with my 05 Mazda 3 ts2. My car was in the garage for the clutch slave cylinder and one of the rear drop links getting replaced; when I got it back initially everything was fine. The next thing the buzzer for the headlights came on when I got out the car but I did not have the headlights on. I took it back to the garage to get it checked out but the problem was gone. Since then it seems to come and go intermittently and I have noticed a few things.
When the problem ioccurs (the buzzer is on when the lights are not) the dashboard lights for the dials lights up instead of the display on the stereo when i start the car, though the stereo does light up if I put on the headlights (boom06). As I said the problem seems to be intermittent and I have actually noticed the lights switching back and forth between the dial lights on with the radio lights off and vice versa. Also I think the reason the buzzer is coming on is that when the problem occurs the lights for the dials is flickering faintly even when the ignition is off and i have removed the key (I can only really see this at night). Has anyone ever seen anything like this before and could this be a result of the work to change the clutch slave cylinder and rear drop link as I do not believe either has anything to do with the electrics.
