Mazda 3 Dashboard rattles

hi there...anyone has had this problem before?....i have a mazda 3 GT/GFX and it seem like the dashboard (top side of the audio panel) makes a rattling sound everytime i go through a bumpy road....my car is quite new...only 2 weeks old!....

It sounds like some plastic is broken or loose....seems to be coming from the decoration strip and audio display....its quite annoying as its a new car and had not heard these kind of rattles in other cars which are quite older than mine....i talked to my dealer and he goes that there's gonna be some rattle but i hate it...

I can only hear this when I have the windows up, stereo and ac off. In other words no external noise. When the windows are down and or stereo is on then you don' there anything....

I'd like to know how many mazda owners have this problem....if its a common problem then i can't do much about it but if it is only a few owners then I'll have a point to argue with the dealer....

yup i have that same kind of problem.. it is annoying i thought its a lemon car.but i tried ejecting all of my cds inside my cd changer coz i have 5 or 6 cds in. i only left one inside and it actually has less noise. i guess it was the cds inside rattling or something.

Your dealer is full of it. I've had rattles and my dealer fixed them all. In fact the 3 is the tightest Mazda I've owned. Nary a rattle or a squeak comes from my interior. The only time the dash squeaked was when the dealer armoralled it. Cleaning up the armor all with detergent fixed the problem. IN two years and 30,000+ miles I've had no issues with rattles.

If the dealer doesn't fix it call Mazda.

I used to get a 'boing' sound once in a while, but I have not heard it for a while... dealer suggested it was an electronic noise that the instrument cluster makes, and its normal. I didn't buy it.

My automatic windshield wipe senser will rattle from time to time. If I touch it and apply slight pressure it goes away
