Mazda 3 2005
Hi guys i own a 2005 Mazda 3 with 120 000 km and since a few months, i keep hearing a dull "clunk" whenever i hit a bump or turn at low speeds. I have recorded sounds from my trunk while i was driving and we can clearly hear the clunk mutliple times. Does anybody have an idea for what could cause this problem? I have already checked the stabilizer bar nuts and everything is tightened and unmovable due to rust.

Thank you

(Listen to the recording with hearphones preferably)

Oh, at the begining, I am only testing the microphone ^^

Do you have any sub woofers or amps in the back of your trunk? Most likely your struts or springs are worn out. They recommend changing struts every 50,000 miles.

Hey, have you done anything to your rear brakes recently? Of the two rear pads in each caliper, one has a spring on top, that spring pad has to be on the inside and if it's not you will get a clunking sound.
