Mazda 3 at Austin, TX dealer

There's a blue Mazda 3 at the Burnet Austin, TX dealer.

Damn that car looks sharp, the interior is just like the 6.

I may be trading my brand new MSP for a Mazdaspeed 3 if they ever make one. I figure it'll be a year or more before they release a Mazdaspeed version, but I think it'll be worth it.

Of course the Mazda 3 just came out and I don't know what Mazda's intensions are. Does anyone know the Mazdaspeed line up?

i beleive the 3 is heavier and has only 160hp with its biggest engine whereas the MSP post flash is 175-180?

Yeah I saw it (the blue Mazda 3) when I was at the dealership on Wednesday to pick up the plates for my MSP. They had just gotten it in that day. All the salespeople were taking it out for a drive. They said they didn't expect to get many more in for a while. It looks pretty nice, but I still like my MSP better. It's too....round.

I'm in Northwest Austin, so not too far.

I got the black mica that used to be on the showroom floor. It had all of 16 miles on it (but it was manufactured 8/2002).
It's funny that I see so many people on here in the Austin and RR areas yet I haven't see another one on the road. Maybe I'll try to make it to the meets sometime. I'm always near RPM IR on Saturday nights (I work out at Gold's Gym at exit 251).

While it's funny that you rarely see one, that's still a VERY attractive "incentive" to have this car. I've only seen a total of seven MSPs around Austin, and I know five of the owners. Kinda cool!

I'm not complaining. I like "exclusivity" of our cars. I didn't have that with my 2002 Honda Accord EX. Not that I disliked that car, but at least I stand out a little more now.
