Mats for back of back seats

I'm looking at getting a cx5. I also looked at the Subaru Crosstrek. One of the awesome things it has was mats on the BACK OF THE BACK SEATS.. so that when you fold the seats down the ENTIRE back is lined. If I throw a bike in the back and it's
muddy, I don't want mud getting all over the back of the back seats. I looked online a bit and didn't see anything like this. Any ideas?

That's good thinking on Subaru's part. Who needs carpet on the backs of the seats anyways?

There are many 3rd party liners out there. the disadvantage of what Subaru has is 2 fold IMO - you can't remove anything for cleaning, and you have gaps between seat backs for dirt.

Here is one liner https://www.canvasback.com/index.php/mazda-cx-5-cargo-liners.html

But there are also one piece liners - usually pet blankets and other types of liners that cover the gaps created by folding the seats down and between seats.

I use a cheap Walmart floor mat to cover the cargo area. As others have pointed out, functionality over looks...

Mazda Japan actually has a very similar hard cargo mat for the CX-5 but it's not available in the USA and quite pricey to get it shipped here. Second best option is the soft cargo liner from mazda. It covers the rear seats backs like you're looking for and it quite durable. I also like that it has a little flap that can be pulled out to hang over the rear bumper, which is handing when gearing up for a ride.

I have the JDM cargo tray for my 3.... as he said, the shipping is expensive... by the time I got them here, it was a lot of money spent
but they work very well... it uses velcro to attach themselves to the seat backs, and there's a flexible vinyl portion that also has velcros on the ends that attach to the trunk floor... that way, the gap is filled when you fold the seats down
the seat back covers don't cover them 100%, part of the sides that are normally hidden by the trim panels in the trunk get exposed when the seats are folded down... but they do cover about 95%

even the main cargo tray has velcros to keep it from sliding around on the trunk floor
