Nothing particular, fiddled with different settings, you have to experiment to get the effect your after. The difficult part is firing the camera while trying to drive down a busy downtown area and our roads are the s****. Removed the passenger seat to get the tripod set up the way I wanted, I got some funny looks when I would pull over to check the pics and make adjustments.

Set your aperture and let the camera decide on the speed and if you can get a remote. I ended up using F6.3 for my lens, 20mm wide.

I got a remote a few days ago.. Will give it a shot when the weather is nicer outside!

PS: Somoene should make it clear that cell phone pics are not allowed. And for those lacking creativity, this is why these threads get created. To test and push your mind to something more. Try..don't get discouraged.

So no where in the official rules does it say no cell phone pics?

I'm well aware of their resolutions and such but a good photographer can use some of those things to make a shot more dramatic (well maybe apart from the low resolution). I think that if a pic illustrates the theme of motion well and if its quality is acceptable then the voters will decide if its worthy. Thats all I'm sayin. just bwcause its not 30 megapixels doesn't mean its not a good pic, espically in a theme such as this one where pics might be blurry by their very nature.

Gotcha. I'm in agreement with you. A good camera would be much preferred over a cellphone.
