That's cool, but you really think it is? Hmmm, I always thought it looked off when a small part of the subject in the photo was cut off, or not enough space left around it. Oh well. Props to everyone for their creativity. Still waiting to hear back from last month.

the sphere is transparent, not a mirror

Right, but you would still see a reflection off the glass which is blurred out.

I didn't get a reflection off the camera since its a glass ball. Although I did change some of the colors in photoshop.

Thats almost what the original picture looked like, no tricks.

Get rid of the rule that the picture has to be taken while the contest is going on. Art doesn't follow any sort of rule so while would you limit someone's ability to submit a good picture that meets the criteria.

The point was to encourage people to get out and take new pictures. Not search their harddrive for something that fits and press submit.

i agree....thats one of the most important rules....it gets everyone to use their camera and think about what to shoot.
