Ok, so suppppper noob question coming up here. I found where to drain the transmission, that was easy enough. Where do i add the fluid and check it from? That's where im stuck at.

Help!

the fill plug is under the stock air box. when i changed mine, i just removed the stock air box to make it easier to get to. its the 23mm nut thats facing down @ 45 degrees towards the front of the car. just fill it up till it starts to drip out.

I have a huge open space there cuz i have a cold air...that means it should be clear of anything and visible as soon as I pop the hood?

I know this is an older post, but just wanted to provide additional photos for future search reference. Hopefully, this will assist others. Photos are from a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege.

Hand pump makes the work easier

This is the hand pump I used. I did not use that blue plastic funnel cup, it did not work the way I wanted it to, so I did end up connecting both orange tubes to the pump. Worked out very well.
