Manual or Automatic???

i had an automatic, and transplanted a manual, its SOOO much better...made the car 10 times more fun to drive.

Manual is sooooo much fun. I had a lot of people try and talk me out of it, but I didn't listen :D and I'm glad. Even in traffic, it isn't that bad. Plus the manual has mad chick appeal! Bottom line, it's a lot of fun and if you don't mind putting your big gulp or cell phone down to shift, then get manual.

^prob. too much. Most of the time it's cheaper to sell your car and buy a manu. Last time I heard it was something like $3,000 or something...

I should be happy I got a manual because it is the first thing a car must have in order to appeal to me. Dont care if you have a 1000 hp monster with auto, if you let the car shift, its not really called driving......I agree lasermp5's "chick appeal" thing haha (2thumbs)

I'm gonna be really biased on this subject, my sig says it all!

HAHAHAHAHAHA is that really a club or whatever? lol I'll join! My first car is maunal and I don't think I'll ever change...

if you ever decide to really mod the car to its potential, the auto won't be able to hold the power long either...

Ok its like this auto's suck in four cylinder cars not enough power and if you add power the auto will not last long.Auto four cylinder=Girls car.

Mine is a manual, taught my wife to drive stick so I could get it....but she has yet to drive it yet :o) cause I'm always in it

When i went out looking for a new car for me (cause mine was stolen), I personally wanted a stick. Never really drove one before except when my friend let me drive his truck one night when he was drunk. But i could have gotten a mazda 3s with sports package, leather, moonroof/6disk changer, and auto. But i wanted a stick because i gotta learn sometime and i always heard its MUCH more fun to drive a stick. So i got a Mazda 3s with sports package, and moonroof/6disk changer. sad thing is the auto one was only about $10 more a month than what im paying for mine but oh well i love it! :)

I ordered mine in stick. I've always wanted one, but where i lived previously, had a lot of hills/mountains and i didn't want to destroy the tranny there. No that I live where its less of a problem, I went for it. I'm looking forward to driving down the hwys in that thing (nana) . The end of march can't come soon enough!

Strange logic to me, because I would be willing to pay more for a manual! I definitely wouldn't feel cheated if my payments "only went down $10" getting a manual! Sounds like a win-win :)

Oh it is a Win-Win. I love my car now that i know how to drive it pretty good. Took me about a day to get it fully. I just cant wait for CAI and stuff like that to come out!
